The laser hand piece has a super chilled tip to pre- and post-chill the skin while the blood vessels absorbs light energy, heating to the point of vessel damage. The vessel then shrinks and fades from view.  The injections feels like small snapping pin picks, but clear vessels within 2-4 weeks, only sometimes leaving pigmention or bruising behind.
